Tomorrow is New Years Eve, which means it’s time for my third annual end of year blog post! In 2024, 58 posts were published out of a total of 148 posts. My social media accounts have also grown vastly this year, which is very rewarding given the amount of time I spend filming and editing my videos.
In the New Year, I will continue to post at least three recipes a month, but it seems likely that most months will have four or more posts. I jot down recipes as they come to me, so I currently have most of next years recipes laid out and waiting to be tested. I should be wrapping up Januarys stuff this week so I can turn my focus to February.
As I have for the past two years, this post will list the five most popular recipes of 2024. I have to confess, none of my posts are “popular”. But I still think it’s a fun way to celebrate the New Year and say goodbye to 2024. So without further ado, the list!
In fifth place with 216 views, Gingerbread Latte Creme Brûlée was one of my more recent Christmas recipes. It’s a relatively simple dessert, but impressive enough for a fancy Christmas dinner!
In fourth place with 237 views, Rosemary Cookies with Caramelized White Chocolate are a much loved recipe from January of 2023. These have stood the test of time and have continued to gain popularity since they were originally published.
In third place with 360 views, Pumpkin Apple Butter is a classic recipe for fall. Apple butter is one of my favorite things to make, and the pumpkin addition makes it extra special.
In second place with 372 views, Homemade Scooby Snacks are a new Halloween favorite! These simple cinnamon biscuits are easy to throw together and perfect to hand out to trick or treaters.
And finally in first place with 463 views: The Very Best Butternut Squash Soup! It’s no mystery why this one is in first place, it’s a quick, healthy, and easy dinner to use up an abundance of butternut squash. Plus, it’s delicious!
