Summer Ballerina Baker Update

Hello all! No recipe today, just a quick post about what’s happening, and what’s coming soon!

Let’s start with the current stuff. The biggest thing is that I now have a TikTok channel! I announced this in a previous post, but I figured I might as well make another announcement. Along with baking and dance, video editing is one of my passions so I wanted to explore that this summer. The videos will mostly be centered around recipes posted on here (with the occasional fun extra video). They might not be the highest quality right now, but I hope to change that with practice. I have been linking some of the videos in my blog posts, so please let me know if there are any problems there!

The Ballerina Baker TikTok account!

As a rule, I try and post at least 3 recipes a month. This is a perfectly reasonable goal during the school year when I have other work to do, but in the summer I like to post a little more. I hope to be posting more than three times in the coming months, mostly because I have had a surge of recipe ideas. And although some of them have been fails, we have quite a few successes that I am pumped to share with you soon.

Unsurprisingly, October will most likely be my busiest month. I just love Halloween ok! I have a bunch of cozy, fun, and delicious fall recipes queued up!

I have also been trying to make some slightly easier recipes lately. It has occurred to me that not a lot of people are willing to spend their whole day making cream filled donuts ( though I highly recommend them). And I really do want people to make my recipes. I love baking, and it makes me happy to see that people enjoy eating my baked goods. With that being said, I also would love to see people getting in the kitchen and making some of my recipes. I know that’s a lot to ask for in some cases, but baking can be a really fun thing to do from time to time. If any of you have made my recipes, send me a picture I would love to see it! You can leave a comment, or email me on my contact page. Anyway all of that is to say, that I have been trying to make some easier recipes for people to try out.

Maybe I’ll make a post with a list of some good beginner recipes on it once a few more of them are posted. Would that be helpful?

This has sort of turned into a bit of an advertisement, which was not my intention! I just wanted to let you all know about the on-goings-on.
